Day 1: Arrival and Evening Ganga Aarti in Varanasi
You will be taken to your hotel for check-in when you arrive at Varanasi Airport in the afternoon. After enjoying a tranquil boat ride at the renowned Dashashwamedh Ghat on the Ganges River later in the evening, take in the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony. Legend has it that the most famous ghat in Varanasi, Dashashwamedh Ghat, was built by Lord Brahma as a tribute to Lord Shiva and is well-known for its enthralling spiritual ambiance. Go to Varanasi and stay the night.

Day 2: Sarnath Visit and Spiritual Tour of Varanasi
Visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath, Annapurna Mandir, Kala Bhairav Mandir, Sankat Mochan Mandir, Durga Mandir, and Tulsi Manas Mandir to begin your day early in Varanasi. Discover the cultural significance of the renowned Benaras Hindu University (BHU). Travel to Sarnath, the hallowed location where Gautam Buddha gave his first sermon upon enlightenment, after breakfast. Explore the Sarnath Museum, which houses the Mahabodhi Society Temple, ancient ruins, and Emperor Ashoka’s carved National Emblem of India. Spend the night in Varanasi and take advantage of the free evening.
Day 3: Varanasi to Prayagraj – A Journey to the Sangam (Approx. 130 KM, 3 Hrs)
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Prayagraj, a historic city known as Prayag, meaning “place of offerings,” located at the sacred confluence (Sangam) of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Sarasvati rivers. Prayagraj, one of India’s oldest cities, has been a central figure in Hindu mythology, cultural development, and Indian history.
Places of Interest in Prayagraj:
- Holy Dip at the Sangam – Experience the spiritual significance of this confluence.
- Bada Hanuman Mandir – Visit this revered temple by the river.
- Akshayavat Tree – Known as the “indestructible banyan tree” in Hindu mythology.
- Anand Bhawan – Explore the birthplace of India’s first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.
Note for Kumbh Mela Season: During Kumbh, consider staying in a camp at the Kumbh Mela grounds due to potential traffic restrictions, especially on Shahi Snan days.
Day 4: Departure from Prayagraj to Varanasi Airport
After breakfast, depart from the Prayagraj hotel and make your way to Varanasi Airport for your next or return trip. Goodbye and safe travels!
