Day 1: Bangalore/Hubli – Hampi
Take a car to Hampi. Check in to the hotel as you arrive. After the long travel, take it easy and enjoy the evening. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2: Hampi – Visit Kishkinda
Enjoy a full-day excursion to Kishkinda, the fabled Sugreev capital, which is situated close to Billari, Hampi, in Karnataka, today. You will visit Malbhavant Mountain, also called Prastravan, which is about four kilometers from Hampi and is where Lord Ram spent the monsoon season. Bali Bandara, Anjani Parvat (where Lord Hanuman was born), Matang Rishi Mountain, and Spatik Sheela are important locations in the vicinity. Hanuman initially told Ram about Sita at Spatik Sheela.
The imposing Virupaksha Temple and expansive stone formations are part of the environment. With its rice fields, villages, and resorts, Anegundi, the former kingdom of Kishkinda, offers a tranquil setting that draws travelers. See the temple atop Anjamadri Hill, the site of Hanuman’s alleged birth, and take in expansive vistas of the rocky landscape of Hampi.
Anegundi is still a pure and tranquil place worth visiting, even though Hampi draws the majority of visitors. Return to the hotel for the night after your visits.
Day 3: Hampi – Day Visit to Rishyamukha Hill
Visit Rishyamukha Hill today, a pivotal location in the Ramayana where, while searching for Sita, Lord Rama and Lakshmana first saw Hanuman. The hill, which is 4,264 feet above sea level, provides fantastic walking conditions. Hanuman initially met Rama and Lakshmana at Hanuman Halli at Koppal, Hampi. To make sure they weren’t his brother Bali’s spies, Sugreev dispatched Hanuman. After that, Hanuman met Sugreev at Rishyamukha Hill while carrying Rama and Lakshmana on his shoulders.
The rich history of the region also includes the neighboring capital of Sugreev, Kishkinda. Return to the hotel in the evening for the night after exploring.
Day 4: Hampi – Ramdurg – Hampi
Visit Kaband Ashram and Shabri Ashram during your day trip to Ramdurg, Belgaum, today.
It is said that Lord Ram and Lakshmana defeated the demon Kaband in Kaband Ashram, which is close to Kardigud. After passing away, Kaband became into an angel, or Gandharva, and ascended to his celestial home, asking Ram to stop by Shabri Ashram before departing.
The Shabri Ashram in Sureban, which is roughly 14 kilometers north of Ramdurg, is the next stop. Devoted to Sage Matang, Shabri awaited Ram’s arrival for years. She handed him berries that she had personally eaten to make sure they were tasty when he eventually arrived, which infuriated Lakshmana. Ram, however, valued her intense loyalty and love. Later, Shabri led Ram to Sugreev so he could carry his looking for Sita.
Return to the hotel for the night after touring these hallowed locations.
