Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Our agent will meet you when you arrive at the airport and take you to your hotel. Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, serves as the Kingdom’s dynamic political and cultural hub. The two major cities of Patan and Kathmandu, which together comprise the urban hub of this historic region, are located in the busy Kathmandu Valley.
Day 2: Explore Kathmandu
Visit the famed Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu sites in Nepal, to start your journey this morning. Hindu sadhus and pilgrims congregate at this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is devoted to Lord Pashupatinath and situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Along the riverbank, the expansive temple complex is home to countless shrines, temples, and inscriptions that have developed over ages.
Proceed to Bouddhanath, a Buddhist pilgrimage destination that is renowned for its enormous stupa. Devout Buddhists might be seen praying and carrying ous ceremonies here. Visit Patan, also called Lalitpur, the “City of Beauty,” which is only divided from Kathmandu by the Bagmati River, after this.
Patan’s Durbar Square, which is renowned for its rich architectural legacy, is crammed with temples that display regionally distinctive antique craftsmanship. In addition to offering an opportunity to purchase fine Tibetan carpets, a visit to the Tibetan refugee center offers an insight into Tibetan culture.
Lastly, pay a visit to Swayambhunath, the famous stupa perched on a hill with a view of the Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhunath, sometimes called the “Monkey Temple,” has a golden spire with Buddha’s eyes painted on top, metaphorically guarding the valley below. top also provides sweeping views of Kathmandu. After the car gets to your hotel, you have a maximum of six hours to spend touring.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 km)
From Kathmandu, take a picturesque 7-hour drive to Pokhara, a city at 2,352 feet above sea level. You may take in breathtaking views of the mountains from your Pokhara hotel on clear days. During your travel, you can choose to add adventure by going river rafting (INR 2000 per person) or visiting the Manakamna Temple, also known as the “Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes,” which is reachable by a picturesque 10-minute cable car ride (INR 550 per person).
Special Notice: The Manakamna cable car will be temporarily closed for maintenance beginning on July 15. This sightseeing stop will not be covered by the program during this time. An alternative activity will be offered if it is already featured.
Day 4: Pokhara
Begin your day with a trip to Sarangkot, a well-known vantage point only 13 kilometers from Pokhara. Sarangkot provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the Pokhara Valley. On clear days, you may get expansive views of the Annapurna range to the north and the Dhaulagiri range to the west, making it the ideal location for sunrises. You can reach the summit at 1592m after a 45–60 minute drive from Pokhara, where the experience is enhanced by the cooler weather. The duration of the visit is approximately three hours.
Next, pay homage to Goddess Durga at Bindebasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s oldest temples. On clear days, the temple, which is in the center of the old bazaar, provides tranquility and stunning views of the Himalayas.
After that, visit the neighboring Gupteshwor Cave, which is renowned for its natural limestone formations, and Devi’s Fall (Patale Chhango), a breathtaking waterfall. It is forbidden to take pictures within the cave. Additionally, after the car arrives at the hotel, the sightseeing will continue for no more than three hours.
Spend the night in Pokhara.
Day 5: Pokhara / Nagarkot
Return to Kathmandu by car, then continue on to Nagarkot, which is 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu and takes around an hour to get there. Nagarkot, which is 2,175 meters above sea level, provides sweeping views of the main peaks, including the magnificent Mount Everest. This picturesque location is well known for its magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset. Have a restful evening and spend the night at the Nagarkot hotel.
Day 6: Nagarkot / Airport
After breakfast, make the 1.5-hour drive straight to the airport to catch your aircraft to your next destination.
