Day 1 - Arrival in Varanasi

Reach the airport in Varanasi (must book a flight by 1330 hours).
At 1330 hours, meet and greet at the airport before making your way to the hotel. Freshen up and check in.
After lunch, at 1600 hrs, continue for a boat ride on the Ganges followed by the Evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Situated next to Vishwanath Temple, this is Varanasi’s most prominent and breathtaking ghat. In two Hindu stories, it is significant: one in which Lord Brahma built it to greet Lord Shiva, and another in which Lord Brahma sacrificed ten horses in the Dasa-Ashwamedha yajna.

It is believed that Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and brother Lakshman spent their eleven-year exile in Chitrakoot. Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh’s divine incarnations are also linked to it, as is the biography of Goswami Tulsidas, the author of the epic “Shri Ramcharitmanas.”
