Day 1: Arrival in Jammu and Temple Tour
Our driver or local agent will meet you when you arrive at the Jammu Railway Station or Airport. Head to the hotel you have reserved in advance to check in and take a moment to freshen yourself. Later, pay a visit to these famous locations:
Raghunath Temple is well-known for its eye-catching design.
The twelve lingams are housed in the Ranbireshwar Temple.
The Bahu Fort and Temple is situated in a beautiful area.
Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2: Jammu to Katra
After breakfast, travel to Katra, a little town in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district that is tucked away in the foothills of the Trikuta mountains. It serves as the foundation for the revered Vaishno Devi temple. Check into your hotel for the night when you get to Katra. Spend the night at Katra.
Another option is to start your trip to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in the evening (trek or pony services are provided upon direct payment).
Day 3: Katra - Darshan at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple
After breakfast, continue on to the Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, which is situated at an elevation of roughly 5200 feet and is one of India’s most sacred pilgrimage sites. From the Katra base camp, also known as Ban Ganga, the yatra entails a hike of roughly 14 kilometers.
For convenience, visitors may choose to use battery-operated cars (reserved well in advance), horses or palkis for the trip, or a helicopter flight (reserved in advance via the shrine board website).
You may also go to Bhairo Mandir and Ardhkuwari. Tickets are available in real time for the ropeway that leads from the Vaishno Devi Bhawan to Bhairo Mandir.
Once the darshan and temple tours are finished, head back to your Katra hotel for the night.
Day 4: Katra to Jammu (45 km / 2 hrs drive)
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and travel to Jammu. You will be taken to the airport or train station to catch your flight or train to your next location after you arrive.
